About the Library Director

Meet Cathy Bayne, our library director.
Cathy Bayne has been employed at the library since 2002. Cathy is
the Library Director. She lives in Fairfax with her husband, Jim, and three
children, Jacob, Adelaide, and William. When not at the library, Cathy enjoys
playing with and watching her children play sports, biking, scrapbooking,
cheering on the Cedar Rapids Kernels, and reading. You can contact Cathy at
